Following the wildfires that tore through Sonoma and Napa Counties, the Kenwood Vineyards and Napa Valley teams have been working hard to drive local programs and initiatives to help rebuild the community.

The program, which commenced in October last year, has already had a strong community impact where the team made over 550 sifter boxes to help residents sort through debris, volunteered their time, raised almost $45,000 for the community and made care packages for locals. The next phase of the program will see the team continue to restore the region through further volunteer work, environmental and community initiatives.

Jo-Anna Partridge, Vice President of Operations for Pernod Ricard Winemakers US, comments “ Our teams’ commitment and passion to help local communities has been really inspiring, going above and beyond to support those affected by the wildfires. Our business places great importance on giving back to the community, and it’s fantastic to see this in action through their hard efforts.”

Furthermore, on the 7th June over 70 members of the Pernod Ricard Winemakers US team took to restoring the Sugarloaf Ridge State Park which was significantly impacted by the wildfires, as part of Pernod Ricard’s global Responsible all day, an initiative that sees 18,500 employees worldwide stop work to give back to the local community.
