As a wine that celebrates different cultures, Jacob’s Creek invited over 40 journalists, instagrammers and foodies from all over the world to join us in the Barossa, at our home for an immersive food and wine event.

The global ‘Our Table’ event brings people from around the world together over a shared love of good food and great wine, showing how Jacob’s Creek embodies the modern Australian values of openness, generosity and life-loving spirit. The three-day event turned the spotlight onto the Barossa Valley region, at the end of this year’s vintage.

The guests met with the team from Jacob’s Creek to get to know more about winemaking, the rich heritage of the winery, alongside a range of food and wine experiences.

The event highlight was the ‘Our Table’ dinner at the home of Jacob’s Creek. Guests originating from 10 countries all took a seat under the stars at a 15m long, native Australian red gum timber table with a glass ‘creek’ centrepiece flowing through its centre representing the iconic wine destination.

Recipes from five of the guests were selected by Jacob’s Creek Head Chef, Nik Tucker to be included as part of the menu. Dish contributions came from guests of Japan, China, Poland and Australia.

Chief Winemaker Dan Swincer selected wines from the Jacob’s Creek Barossa Signature range to match the four contributed dishes, and the broader menu served on the evening.
